The Bill McLaren Foundation

The Bill McLaren Foundation

The Bill McLaren Foundation was set up in March 2010 after the famous rugby commentator Bill McLaren died suddenly in the January. The foundation, launched at Murrayfield Stadium, was set up with support of his family for 3 main purposes; to develop and promote the sport of rugby union and its values, to encourage and provide sporting opportunities for young people, and to create an educative centre which would include the Bill McLaren Archive. Projects, schools and individuals can apply for funding to help with rugby related costs. www.billmclarenfoundation.co.uk
