Sports Aid based in London was established back in 1976 to help British athletes cover the costs of their sports careers. Over time the charity has increased, even get such a patrons as Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge, as well as actually supporting people such as Chris Hoy, Tom Daley and Rebecca Adlington to achieve their dreams in the sporting world. In 2004, TASS (Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme) was started as a management project on behalf of UK Sport.
