The iPhone 7: Expected later this year

Apple, the multimedia giant could reveal its latest addition to the Apple family in less than two months.

The iPhone ‘7’ is expected to be released in September this year. Although Apple won’t be unveiling the device for another couple of months, they have already decided a release date.

According to notorious leaker Evan Blass, Apple will be putting the iPhone 7 up for sale in stores, globally, on Friday 16th September 2016.

However, other Apple leakers have suggested that Apple may not even call it the iPhone 7 – instead the ‘6SE’ to match their latest release, iPhone SE which went on sale earlier this year.

The 6SE theory was mentioned to Chinese media by a German tech news page who go by the name of Apfelpage.

In previous years both the 6 and 6s was released in September, so Apple has no real reason to change their strategy, especially in the run up to Black Friday and Christmas sales.

In the latest additions of the iPhone, we have seen storage sizes of 16GB, 64GB and 128GB however, it is rumoured that Apple has suggested they will be scrapping the 16GB and offering a more generous 32GB internal storage size instead to replace the 16GB.

If you have unfortunately obtained the habit of dropping your handsets down the toilet or in the bath ( which we have all done it) – it is rumoured that Apple will be making the latest device completely waterproof.

So this may lead us to think, what will be the price of this magnificent device? that is something that is yet to be decided amongst the developers.
